About the role
As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll help our difference be felt by our customers on every visit, providing partner-led service and a passion for food that our competitors can't match — passionate partners serving food lovers!

Note: Due to working time regulations, applicants must be 18 years or over to apply.
Additional pay: You will receive a shift premium for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00, paid at the role's minimum pay rate.
Key Responsibilities
Your role involves providing excellent customer service and various shopkeeping tasks to ensure efficient and productive store operations. Responsibilities include:
1. Stock replenishment — ensuring shelves are full and products are correctly positioned for customers.
2. Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery.
3. Reducing wastage through product due diligence and markdowns for items nearing their sell-by date.
4. Supporting the wider shop team, including checkout assistance, managing Click & Collect orders, and fulfilling on-demand customer orders.
5. Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.
Essential skills/experience
* Effective communication skills to work well as part of a team and with customers.
Desirable skills/experience
* Experience in a customer-facing role.
* Interest and knowledge in food and drink trends.
* Flexible approach to support the entire branch.
