Responsibilities
* Complete statutory visits for Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Children in Care (CIC).
* Chair CIN and Core Group Meetings, ensuring well-coordinated care plans.
* Hold a caseload of CIN, CP, and CIC, including some cases in Pre-Proceedings (PLO) or Section 31 Care Proceedings.
* Prepare court reports, and conduct risk and parenting assessments with a focus on accuracy and detail.
* Support and actively participate in the duty rota.
* Attend Initial Child Protection Conferences (ICPC) and Review Child Protection Conferences (RCPC), and draft comprehensive conference reports.
* Have an active role in risk management and assessment, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families.
Qualifications
* A degree or equivalent in social work with current registration with Social Work England.
* Significant frontline experience within UK Social Services as a qualified social worker, demonstrating your capability in dealing with demanding situations.
