What you will do
* Provide leadership and professional knowledge to colleagues, promoting innovation and facilitating reflective practice.
* Work with vulnerable adults with complex needs, using a Strength-Based and Enabling model to assess their needs.
* Develop support plans to help adults and their carers achieve independence, maintain relationships, and be valued community members.
* Undertake leadership roles, deputising for managers and leading on safeguarding inquiries as required.
* Supervise and mentor junior staff, supporting them in overcoming challenges and resolving dilemmas.
* Maintain fitness to practice by meeting professional regulatory requirements and upholding the reputation of the profession.
* Lead, supervise, and mentor less experienced social workers, ensuring high standards of practice.
* Contribute to a busy duty system and make essential decisions to support team managers.
* Engage in community development and resource management, utilizing local networks and groups.
* Record and report information accurately, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to legal frameworks.
