Role: Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer Location: West Yorkshire Type: Temporary - Part Time Rate: £35 - £45 per hour Eden Brown are seeking a motivated Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced trades professional or lecturer to inspire and support learners at the beginning of their training journey. It is a part time role to start on 22nd September for 1 month initially. 4 days per week, Monday - Thursday delivering Carpentry & Joinery Level 1. The Role You will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Carpentry & Joinery at Level 1, helping learners to build practical skills, knowledge, and confidence. The position will involve lesson planning, delivery, and assessment, while maintaining a safe and supportive workshop environment. Key Responsibilities - Teach Carpentry & Joinery learners at Level 1 - Deliver both practical and theory sessions in line with curriculum requirements - Provide support, encouragement, and guidance to help learners progress - Develop resources and contribute to curriculum planning - Ensure a safe learning environment in line with college policies About You - Qualified to at least Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent) - Teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLLS) - or willingness to achieve one - Recent industry experience in Carpentry & Joinery - Previous teaching or training experience desirable, but not essential - Passion for supporting and developing learners at foundation level Candidates must have a current DBS If this role could be of interest please contact Callum Boyle on (phone number removed) or Eden Brown Synergy is an equal opportunities employer.
