What’s on offer:
* Salary: £18-£20 per hour + standard benefits.
* Hours: Mon-Thurs - 7:00-17:15 or Mon-Thurs - 7:00-15:30 and Friday - 12:00 finish.
What will you be doing:
* Operate CNC machines to produce components according to precise engineering drawings and specifications.
* Set up, adjust, and program machines using Fanuc controls to ensure optimal performance and meet tight tolerance requirements.
* Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools to verify compliance with design specifications.
* Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues promptly to minimise downtime and maintain production schedules.
* Collaborate closely with team members to optimise processes and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency.
* Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
What are we looking for:
* Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with expertise in Fanuc controls, turning, programming, and machining low tolerance components.
* Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints accurately.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality components.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of thriving in a collaborative environment.
* An individual that values precision, innovation, and excellence in manufacturing.
