SEO Executive Location: Warrington (Full-Time, Office-Based) Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 DOE Bonus Morson Edge is recruiting an SEO Executive on behalf of a leading UK eCommerce retailer within the sports sector. This is an opportunity to join a well-established online business where strong SEO foundations are already in place following a recent website redevelopment. The business is now looking for someone who can take ownership of organic performance and drive the next phase of growth. We are ideally seeking someone from a retail or eCommerce background, preferably brand-side, who understands the commercial impact of SEO within a product-led environment. The Role This is a hands-on, commercially focused SEO position with responsibility for driving organic growth across a large multi-category retail site. You will optimise category, brand, and product pages, build out a content strategy to generate additional traffic, and ensure SEO best practice is embedded across site developments. You must be confident understanding technical SEO principles, working with developers, and identifying opportunities to improve performance. Key Responsibilities Own and deliver the SEO strategy aligned to commercial objectives. Optimise category, brand, and product pages to maximise visibility and revenue. Develop and expand content initiatives to drive incremental organic traffic. Monitor and report on performance using GA4, Search Console, SEMrush and related tools. Work closely with development teams to maintain technical SEO standards. Improve internal linking structures and overall site architecture. Identify technical improvements relating to crawlability, indexation, and Core Web Vitals. Collaborate with ecommerce, PPC, and marketing teams to ensure alignment across channels. About You 2–4 years SEO experience within retail or eCommerce. Strong understanding of on-page and technical SEO principles. Commercially minded with a clear understanding of how SEO impacts revenue. Confident working cross-functionally with developers and digital teams. Experience using GA4, Search Console, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog. Self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership of SEO performance.
