What you will do:
You will beallocatedspecifictaskswhichsupport key improvement activities currently taking place within this function.Supportedby our experienced team you will:
1. Organiseand co-ordinate supply chain eventse.g.value engineering, vendor managed inventory etc.
2. Support new product introduction activities
3. Work closely with the commodity team
4. Provide input to the strategic commodity strategies
5. Provide administration support inday-to-dayactivities within the Supply Chain/ Logistics team
What you will learn:
This placement offers the opportunity to gainreal hands-onexperience within an aerospace manufacturing supply chain environment and understand how materials,suppliersandlogisticssupportaircraftproduction.
Skills and ExperienceRequired:
This Industrial Placement opportunity is suited to you if you arepassionate abouta career in Supply Chain.Wewill delight in training and supporting you during your placement which means you need to be a willing learner and committed to achieving both business and personal results whilst working as part of a team.
Essential Criteria:
In addition to the above you should be studyingtowardsa degree orintegratedmaster's in Supply Chain, Engineering or aBusiness-relateddiscipline-with a significantSupplyChain/Logisticscomponent-and be available to complete a 12-month placementcommencingin June/July 2026.
You will be proficient in Microsoft Office,possessexcellent interpersonal and communication skills, and haveexperienceworking within a team environment. You willdemonstratestrong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.
Desirable Criteria:
6. Previoussubstantialrelevant work experience in a Supply Chain environment
7. 6 monthspreviousexperience working in an administrator role.
