New Business Client Account Executive – Commercial Insurance
Hours: 9am–5pm, Monday–Friday
Barker Munro Recruitment is supporting a dynamic, client‑first commercial broker seeking a driven New Business Client Account Executive to fuel growth through proactive outbound activity and strong commercial understanding.
The Role
* Cold calling & outbound lead generation (non‑negotiable)
* Build and manage your own pipeline
* Convert inbound/outbound leads into quoted and bound business
* Conduct fact‑finds and prepare strong insurer submissions
* Negotiate competitive terms with insurers and specialist markets
* Present options clearly, close confidently, and hand over clean files
* Track activity, conversion and written income
* Maintain compliant onboarding and accurate documentation
Clients & Covers
Commercial clients with premiums from £5k–£300k, across: Motor/Fleet • Liability • Material Damage • Cyber • Management Liability
What We’re Looking For

You’ll be supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial clients to protect and grow renewal income through disciplined renewal management, proactive communication and negotiation, and consistently strong client results. This will involve visiting clients who are mainly based in Kent, Essex and M25 boundary.
You’ll be at the heart of the broker’s claims service, delivering confident, proactive support to commercial clients ranging from £5,000 to £300,000 GWP. Their client base spans motor/fleet, liability and material damage – including both standard and complex placements.This is a role for someone who loves getting stuck in, communicates clearly, and enjoys driving claims to resolution through strong insurer, adjuster and third-party engagement.
