Visum Recruitment are delighted to be representing our client, a manufacturer within the Fluid Power industry, who are seeking an experienced and driven Area Sales Manager to join them on a full-time, permanent basis. The role of the Area Sales Manager will be to develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer relationships across the South East. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth by promoting the company’s product range, supporting OEMs and end users, and identifying opportunities within target sectors. Area Sales Manager Job Overview Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities to grow market share within the assigned territory. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers Promote the company’s vacuum automation solutions to OEMs, end users, and machine builders. Conduct on-site and remote sales meetings, providing technical advice and product guidance. Manage projects from initial enquiry through to proposal, trials, and order completion. Arrange and oversee product trials where required. Negotiate pricing, discounts, and commercial terms in line with company policies. Use CRM software to plan visits, record customer information, and manage the sales pipeline. Work with marketing to support lead generation and promotional activity. Continuously develop product knowledge and sales capability Area Sales Manager Job Requirements Experience in B2B technical or industrial sales. Experience selling Fluid Power/ Automation products Strong commercial awareness with the ability to negotiate and close deals.
