Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an exceptional opportunity for a highly organised and experienced Housekeeper to support two sisters residing in two brand-new properties located within a nine-minute drive of each other in Effingham, near Guildford, Surrey. One sister is married and the other is single, and each owns a small dog. The principals have recently moved into their newly built luxury homes this December and are seeking a professional with a strong background in high-standard housekeeping who can ensure both properties are maintained impeccably. Effingham is a desirable Surrey village known for its beautiful countryside surroundings, excellent schools, and convenient access to Guildford and London, offering a pleasant working environment for a long-term professional seeking stability and longevity.
Working as a professional Housekeeper across two private residences requires excellent time management, flexibility, and a proactive approach. The successful candidate will divide their time between both properties, ensuring each home is maintained to a pristine standard. Responsibilities will include full housekeeping duties, detailed laundry care for both households, and the careful maintenance of silver and brand-new luxury furnishings. As the properties have only recently been occupied, the role will also involve assisting with settling-in tasks and liaising with contractors where necessary. Although the principals manage their own cooking, basic cooking skills would be considered an advantage. Occasional assistance with the small dogs may be required. Due to the rural setting and the need to travel between the two houses, the Housekeeper must hold a valid driving licence and use their own vehicle.

This is a live-out position in a countryside setting. As the two properties are located within a short driving distance of one another and public transport links are limited in the immediate area, a full driving licence and own vehicle are essential for this role.
Main
duties
of
the
Full-Time
Housekeeper:
* Maintaining both brand-new properties to an exceptional standard of cleanliness and presentation.
* Managing full laundry care for two households, including washing, ironing, folding, and wardrobe organisation.
* Providing specialist care for silver, delicate items, and luxury furnishings.
* Assisting with moving-in processes and organising household spaces following recent relocation.
* Liaising with and overseeing contractors when required.
* Travelling independently between the two properties using own vehicle.
* Providing occasional care for the principals' small dogs when necessary.
* Demonstrating discretion, reliability, and a commitment to long-term service.
* Preparing simple meals would be a bonus, though this is not an essential requirement.
