HR and Health and Safety Officer

Our client, a leading UK manufacturer producing parts for the automotive sector, is looking for a proactive and organized HR and Health and Safety Officer to join their team. This is a varied role supporting both HR functions and health and safety compliance, ideal for someone who enjoys a busy, people-focused position with variety.
What You Will Do
1. Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, leavers, and probation reviews.
2. Maintain HR records and process weekly timesheets.
3. Provide first-line HR support, including taking minutes at formal meetings.
4. Coordinate recruitment campaigns and onboarding activities.
5. Organise employee training and maintain compliance records.
6. Track and report on health and safety incidents, audits, and training.
About You
We're seeking someone with strong administration experience, ideally gained in HR, H&S. You should be highly organized, confident with Microsoft Office, and comfortable handling sensitive information. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.
Experience with HR systems, knowledge of employment law, and/or H&S legislation would be advantageous.
