Redwood River School is looking for a Personal Development and Wellbeing Lead (SLT) to join our wonderful independent SEN school. Our new school is based at the Old Postern, a breathtakingly beautiful medieval building steeped in history and surrounded by the tranquil natural beauty of the South Devon countryside.
As part of our exciting journey, we’re delighted to offer a unique opportunity for a passionate and experienced Personal Development and Wellbeing Lead (SLT)to join our brand-new team at Redwood River School. As a Personal Development and Wellbeing Lead (SLT), this role sits within the professional leadership and management team for the school. This will promote a secure foundation from which to achieve high standards in all areas of the school’s work.
Personal Development and Wellbeing Lead must establish high quality education by effectively working with the SLT to manage the teaching and learning whilst using personalised learning to realise the potential of all students. To oversee the teaching of pupils across the full age and ability range present in the Key Stage in order to ensure the highest possible standards of student’s achievement, personal development and wellbeing

What We’re Looking For
15. QTS/Relevant Teaching Qualification
16. Good knowledge of people management practices
17. Outstanding leadership skills
18. Relevant experience in the specialist area of the service relevant experience of working with young people/young adults with autistic spectrum disorders and/or challenging behaviour
