An exciting opportunity has become available for Band Static Occupational Therapist who has experience or a keen interest in working in the areas of Trauma and Plastics Inpatients.
You will be part of a well established team working as part of a supportive and friendly team providing high quality occupational therapy treatment.
Trauma Service
To work as part of the trauma and plastics therapy service and wider Major Trauma Centre.
You need to be able to demonstrate excellent team working and communication skills, flexibility to adapt to client needs, sound clinical reasoning, decision making and problem-solving skills.
Main duties of the job
You will be using a wide range of Occupational Therapy skills.
1. To assess and treat patients within the Trauma and Plastics services.
2. To assist OT Service Manager and Team Leaders in service development and the provision of a quality service.
3. To take responsibility for junior members of staff and delegate duties as necessary, providing appropriate level of support at all times.
You will have opportunities to develop your role within the role. Training and education are available to support this, and is supported by senior OT's.
