Junior Site Engineer (Temp to Perm) - Housing Civils
Are you a Site Engineer looking to kick-start your career with a clear path to a permanent role?
Randstad is looking for a Junior Site Engineer for a growing civil engineering company specializing in large-scale residential developments. We're looking for a highly motivated and proactive Junior Site Engineer on a temp-to-perm basis, with a view to a permanent contract after a 12-week trial period.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with up to two years of experience in the civils sector. You'll work closely with our experienced project managers and site teams, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of residential groundworks and infrastructure.
What you'll be doing:
Setting out and checking various civils works on housing sites, including roads, drainage, foundations, and utilities.
Assisting with the management of site operations, including health and safety, quality control, and environmental compliance.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and design specifications.
Conducting site surveys and compiling daily site diaries and reports.
Collaborating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.What we're looking for:
A degree or HNC in Civil Engineering.
A valid CSCS card.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Basic knowledge of surveying equipment, such as total stations and GPS.
A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.Why join us?
