Manufacturing Technician – Thales UK
We’re looking for a highly skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our cutting‑edge team at Thales UK in Glasgow.
What You’ll Do
* Perform complex manufacturing tasks adhering to quality standards and all company processes.
* Conduct product assessments, identify faults or non‑compliances, and participate in root‑cause analysis.
* Manage and record build configurations using tools such as IBS/Oracle and Palma.
* Support continuous improvement projects that keep Thales at the forefront of technology.
* Work with electrical, mechanical, and optical components, testing and aligning opto‑mechanical systems and diagnosing electronic systems to component level.
What You Bring
* Experience in an industrial or engineering environment is essential.
* Ability to assemble, align, and test complex systems to the highest standards.
* Strong time‑management, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* A desire to innovate and continuously improve processes.
* Basic PC skills and the ability to manage technical systems.
Due to the nature of the work, the role requires Security Clearance (SC). Applicants must have SC Clearance or be able to obtain it prior to commencing employment.
