The Role
This role will contribute to the day-to-day financial oversight of revenue activity, working closely with operational stakeholders to ensure income is managed efficiently and in line with firm-wide objectives.
Key areas of responsibility include:
* Acting as a finance liaison for assigned stakeholders, providing guidance on billing practices and revenue processes
* Reviewing revenue data to support accurate forecasting and performance tracking
* Supporting the progression and resolution of WIP through regular review and stakeholder engagement
* Coordinating billing activity with offshore or shared service teams to ensure timely invoice production
* Investigating and resolving billing, time recording, and e-billing issues
* Working alongside Credit Control to support effective cash collection and reduce lock-up
* Contributing to process improvement initiatives within the revenue and wider finance teams
Candidate Profile
Candidates will ideally demonstrate:
* Experience in a professional services or partnership-based environment
* Familiarity with revenue, billing, or WIP processes
* Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders and managing multiple priorities
* Exposure to finance systems such as Elite 3E or similar (beneficial but not essential)
* A proactive and structured approach to work
