At Junior Adventures Group we are on the lookout for a happy, enthusiastic and passionate Club Manager who is committed to developing and nurturing other team members, as well as our children. You'd be joining the UK's leading provider of children's wraparound care in the UK offering a range of roles in our Breakfast, After School and Holiday Clubs!
So, what does it mean to be a JAG Club Manager? The key responsibilities include:
* Leading a passionate team who have the same goals as you, managing, directing and supporting staff in their delivery of a safe and effective programme, while ensuring team members are motivated and happy.
* Being easily approachable and communicating and engaging with people, ensuring effective communication between your venue, your team, parents, the school or host leisure centre and Central Operations.
* Providing inclusive, fun, and engaging care for our children while inspiring them to explore their interests.
* Planning, supervising and delivering planned activities with structure and enthusiasm, including a wide range from multi sports, games, arts & crafts, downtime and structured play.
* Being proactive, responsible and able to follow procedures, implementing protocols and policies with team members to ensure the children in our care are safe.
* Having bundles of energy, excitement, enthusiasm, and wanting to make a difference every day, while getting paid, being people-focused, warm, honest and genuine and wanting to create unexpected experiences which make people go 'WOW!'.
We are looking for someone with experience leading a team, behaviour management experience, and a background in sports, although these are not essential. The successful candidate will be put forward for Paediatric First Aid Qualification, paid for by us if not already qualified.
Contracts Available: Term Time only or Permanent Contract. The ideal candidate will have Management & Team leading experience and able to demonstrate a real passion for working with children.
Location: Willow Bank Junior School, Duffield Rd, Woodley, Wokingham, RG5 4RW. Hours: 25 hours per week during term time - additional hours paid for planning and preparation.
Operational Hours during Term Time: Monday to Friday - Hours: 7.15 - 9.00 for Breakfast Club & 14.45 - 18.00 for After School Club. This can be a fixed 52 week permanent contract as we run holiday clubs during all school holidays - you can work up to 40 hrs per week during the holidays if desired or continue with 25 hrs per week. Pay: £15.00 per hour.
