Role Responsibilities
 * Provide one‑to‑one or two‑to‑one support tailored to each young person’s needs.
 * Work shifts in teams, averaging 56.4 hours per week, including sleep hours.
 * Assist with daily tasks: driving to and from school, appointments, food preparation, household chores, and organising activities and outings.
 * Follow the therapeutic care model through induction and ongoing training with our Learning and Development team.
 * Support up to three homes in the same geographical area as required.
What We Offer You
 * A starting salary of £34,719.00 to £36,248.00 per annum, pro‑rata, depending on experience.
 * Full‑time rota: one day on (24 hours, including sleep‑over) and two days off (48 hours).
 * 56.4 average weekly working hours including sleepovers.
 * 5.6 weeks annual leave per annum (pro‑rata for part‑time).
 * Full funding for a Level 3 SVQ/NVQ qualification in Residential Child Care.

Essential Qualities

 * Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft packages.
 * Full UK manual driver’s licence (manual vehicles provided).
Desirable Qualities
 * Up to 12 months experience working with children or young adults (more experience may qualify for higher salary grades).
 * Working towards or desire to obtain SCQF Level 7 or Level 3 Diploma relevant to the residential workforce (funding may be available).
 * Familiarity with the Codes of Practice of regulatory bodies.
 * Existing PVG/DBS certificate.
