This position is responsible for learning and enforcing the various policies and procedures required of the Slot Department.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:***(These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position)** General responsibility for assigned area/capacity of Electronic Gaming Devices (EGD) operation during assigned shift.* Ensures that all personnel are informed of and comply with all relative Federal, State, and internal policies, procedures, and regulations.* Responsible for the training, development, counseling, and necessary discipline, within assigned parameters.* Performs other related duties as assigned.* Manages subordinates in the Slot Department.* Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.* Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.* Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems of employees and guests.* Perform work regularly and adheres to all Indiana Gaming Regulations.**NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*** Attend seminars when needed.**EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:***(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)*High school diploma or equivalent. This knowledge and these abilities are typically acquired through a through a minimum of 1-year supervisory experience.
