We are seeking a Fire Engineer to join a leading residential developer, leading on vital remedial works to both external wall systems and internal fire safety.

Responsibilities:
* Deliver technical presentations to internal teams on Fire Risk Assessments and remedial proposals.
* Lead and manage consultant teams assessing buildings.
* Ensure full compliance with legislation, standards, and “Golden Thread” principles, providing clear documentation and QA evidence.
* Collaborate with technical, construction, and commercial colleagues to challenge and refine designs and solutions.
* Conduct peer reviews of third-party fire safety assessments including FRAEW PAS9980, fire door surveys, and compartmentation reports.
* Attend and contribute to design meetings, site visits, and stakeholder discussions.
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-driven Fire Engineer with:
* Membership (or working towards) of the Institute of Fire Engineers
* Strong working knowledge of PAS9980 FRAEWs and Fire Risk Assessments (Type 1–4).
* Experience in remedial/refurbishment works to both external wall systems and internal fire safety measures.
* In-depth knowledge of current and emerging fire safety legislation and regulations.
* Excellent skills in report analysis, stakeholder communication, and simplifying technical information.
