JOB DESCRIPTION: ASSISTANT DEPUTY MANAGER (Maternity Leave)
Responsible to: Manager & Managing Partner
Main contacts: Parents, children & nursery staff
Purpose of the job: The deputy manager will deputise for the manager and will be responsible for any tasks delegated by the manager.
Main Responsibilities:
To ensure the highest standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual education for the children of the nursery provided within a safe and caring environment.
Ensure the continuing high-quality care and protection of all children, welcome new families and liaise with parents on all matters relating to their child.
To supervise and support the staff in the nursery, assist the manager with all aspects of the day-to-day management and administration of the nursery & after school.
Duties must be carried out in a professional, caring manor and demeanour which reflects the position as deputy manager as a representative of the manager and help the manager maximise the profitability of the nursery without jeopardising the agreed standards.
Put the needs of the children first in all matters of care, education, and play.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £21,537.88 per year
Expected hours: 30.5 per week
