Centre Manager - The Regent Shopping Centre Kirkintilloch
Part-time position (3 days per week)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Centre Manager to join the Management Team at The Regent Shopping Centre.
Reporting to the Property Surveyor, this role will give the ideal candidate the opportunity to manage a local shopping centre in the heart of the community whilst offering an exceptional degree of independence.
Role
· To manage and ensure statutory compliance of all technical, mechanical, electrical and building services
· Create a safe environment for The Regent Centre customers, staff, contractors & tenants
· Manage budget and deliver financial targets
· Support and lead day to day internal operating teams
· Report and monitor performance of Centre ensuring key performance indicators are achieved

· 3 - 5 years experience of similar role
· Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
· Self-driven with good attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task and work to agreed deadlines
Key Responsibilities
· Management of all Centre departments/teams, tenants and contractors according to the agreed business plan
· Report and monitor budget cost provision and implementation including contractor cost benchmarking
· Review and maintain external contracts
· Work with internal mechanical/electrical teams and external contractors to ensure statutory compliance with current legislation
· Liaise with the relevant statutory authorities and managing agent representative supporting reactive situations
· Ensuring the building fabric of the site is maintained and planned preventative maintenance is carried out, liaising with contractors to achieve the required health and safety standards.
· Ensure internal teams are aware of business plan to meet organisational and individual targets and objectives
· Build good relations with key stakeholders and local authorities to develop successful working partnerships
· Ensure a secure and safe shopping environment for the public
· Achieve agreed targets and objectives contribute to Centre Management team initiatives
· Maintain high standards of Health and Safety, statutory compliance and fabric maintenance within budget parameters.
· Management and control of all mechanical and electrical aspects within the Centre

Competencies:
NEBOSH Diploma/IOSH desirable but not essential
Experience in developing and managing a team

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £16,000.00-£22,500.00 per year
