We have an exciting role on offer within our Prevention, Access and Provider Services as a Senior Support Worker. We are seeking applicants with some leadership experience to join our established team at the Orchard Day Service. You will support the delivery of a high-quality, person-centred service for adults with complex needs and learning disabilities, ensuring individual outcomes, choice, and independence remain central to practice. Applicants should have experience of working within or alongside partnership processes and be able to demonstrate effective, supportive working relationships within a senior and multi-disciplinary professional team. There are opportunities to build on existing qualifications and further develop skills through additional training. The successful candidate will be able to lead within complex and fast-moving environments, identify potential risks, and take proactive steps to manage and reduce them while promoting person centred, strengths based approaches. Applicants must: have an appropriate QCF (Formally NVQ) Level 3 in Care or equivalent, have achieved a good standard of education to GCSE level or equivalent, have some experience in the field of Social Care working with people with Complex needs / Learning Disabilities & Autism, have some understanding of Person-Centred approach, demonstrate an ability to exceed professional standards and act as a professional role model, have competent written, oral and ICT skills, be able to demonstrate empathy/compassion and understanding around engaging with people.
