?? Hours: 36 per week, Monday to Friday
?? Salary: Up to £40 per hour (depending on experience)
Are you a passionate Chemistry educator with experience teaching A-Level students? Were looking for a dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join our team in Salford on a permanent basis.
Qualifications & Experience
Hold a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
Degree in Chemistry or a closely related science discipline
Proven experience teaching A-Level Chemistry is essential
Experience with Vocational Science, Access to HE (Science), or Adult Education courses is highly desirable
Teaching Skills
Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across a range of learner levels
Strong understanding of the A-Level Chemistry curriculum and assessment standards
Skilled in planning, delivering, and evaluating lessons that meet diverse learning needs
Comfortable using digital tools and platforms to enhance learning
Professional Attributes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to curriculum development
Desirable Traits
Enthusiasm for science education and student success
Flexibility to teach across different course formats (Vocational, Access, A-Level)
