Nailsea School is seeking to employ a full time, Computing and ICT teacher. 0.80 fte would be considered.
Nailsea School aims to achieve excellence for all students, through outstanding teaching and learning and is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to join our dedicated Maths and Computing Faculty. Our vision is to provide a high-quality education which equips our students with the skills needed to succeed in the modern world. We provide students with an excellent foundation from Computational Thinking and Computer Science to Digital Literacy and IT.
All students at Nailsea School will have the opportunity to experience Computing and Information Technology at KS3 for 2 hours a fortnight covering a range of topics allowing breadth and depth. Students can then opt to complete a Cambridge National Certificate in Information Technology at KS4 or AQA GCSE Computer Science as part of their GCSEs. AAQ App Development is offered at Post-16 with Computer Science A-Level to follow.
