About The Role
We are seeking a talented Motion Designer to join our creative team at Hargreaves Lansdown. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for creating engaging motion graphics and animations that bring our brand to life across various digital platforms. Your work will support marketing campaigns, enhance storytelling, and elevate the overall brand experience. As part of a fast-evolving marketing function, you will collaborate closely with designers, content creators, and marketers to develop visually compelling content that aligns with our brand guidelines and strategic objectives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major transformation, leveraging your creative skills to make a measurable impact on our digital presence and customer engagement.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools
* Strong understanding of animation principles, typography, and visual storytelling
* Experience in storyboarding and visualizing concepts effectively
* Proven track record in motion design or animation roles, preferably within marketing or creative teams
* Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* A comprehensive portfolio showcasing a range of motion design projects
* Experience working within brand guidelines and contributing to brand development
* Knowledge of video editing, sound design, and post-production workflows
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
* Design and produce high-quality motion graphics for digital campaigns, social media, videos, and presentations
* Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to conceptualize and execute animated content aligned with brand standards
* Translate complex ideas into visually engaging animations that support business objectives
* Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project briefs
* Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and techniques to continually enhance motion design quality
* Optimize motion assets for various platforms and devices to ensure consistent performance
* Contribute to the development of innovative visual storytelling methods to elevate brand presence
