Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum
Location: Farnborough / Manchester / UK-Remote
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you’ll collaborate on exciting projects, as the Company focuses on establishing a revised people strategy for and beyond.
The right candidate will take a hands-on approach and balance a data-driven mindset with warmth and personability. You’ll be liaising with colleagues across the UK, Spain, and Hungary, so the ability to respect differences and work across global teams is imperative.
The role is initially for a 6-month fixed term period, with the possibility of extension.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of relative experience, either in a similar position or having gained invaluable experience in an entry-level role.

What You’ll Do
As an HR Generalist at One Beyond UK, you’ll provide full support to the business and teams, in relation to all HR matters; guiding and advising colleagues and assuming responsibility for the day-to-day smooth running of the UK HR function.
Main Functions & Responsibilities
* Responsible for the employee life cycle: streamline processes from recruitment to off-boarding. Create continuous improvement and analyse data to enhance the employee experience and bolster retention.
* Act as the first point of contact for employees, managing the UK HR inbox and addressing queries with empathy and efficiency.
* Proactively identify and resolve employee relation issues, fostering a positive company culture.
* Maintain precise and up-to-date employee records, utilising and optimising the HRIS system effectively.
* Maintain personnel files and produce all necessary documentation related to the employee.
* Manage recruitment: assist in sourcing appropriate candidate pools and oversee the selection process. Drive diversity initiatives and ensure inclusion is at the forefront of recruitment strategy and hiring practices. Optimise and revise the recruitment process on an ongoing basis.
* Guide management in handling performance issues, disciplinary procedures, and grievances, in line with company best practices and UK employment law.
* Ensure strict compliance with employment laws and regulations; update policies and procedures accordingly. Conduct audits to maintain accurate records and mitigate potential legal risks.
* Support and collaborate on ongoing projects under management guidance; drive efficiencies in all HR aspects.
* Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate payroll reporting and assist in resolving discrepancies. Keep meticulous track of HR payroll inputs throughout the month.
* Manage appraisal and review processes; assist managers with feedback, progression, and development.
* Work with the Academy Team to support learning and development opportunities.

Requirements
* 2-3 years HR experience in a similar or entry-level position
* Working towards CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
* Proficiency in HR software systems and MS Office
* Previous experience managing HRIS systems (desirable)
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
* Calm, organised, and able to prioritise tasks effectively
Location
Remote work with optional hybrid arrangements via UK offices in Farnborough and Manchester. Attendance may be required for team meetings or company events.
Salary & Benefits
