Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. They are adynamic construction consultancy built on innovation, accountability, and collaboration. This role covers pre-construction through to delivery, with a focus on cost management, procurement, and contract administration across a variety of building and civil engineering projects.
The role: Prepare cost plans, bills of quantities, valuations, and cost reports in line with RIBA stages. Lead procurement, tendering, and contract management (JCT, NEC, frameworks). Oversee budgets, cash flow forecasts, and change control to deliver best-value outcomes. Advise clients and stakeholders on commercial, contractual, and risk matters. Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery. What theyre looking for: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (RICS-accredited). Chartered (MRICS/MCIOB) or working towards qualification. Strong knowledge of procurement routes, construction methods, and industry standards. Experience preparing cost plans, valuations, and contract administration. Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and attention to detail. Proficient in digital tools (e.g., Bluebeam, CostX, Causeway).
