Inside Sales Support Specialist
Location: Sutton Scotney
Contract: Temp to Perm
Hours: Part-time - 3 days per week
Pay: £13 - £14 per hour
The Role
An experienced and organised Inside Sales Support Specialist is required to provide administrative and operational support to a busy sales function. This temp-to-perm, office-based role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, coordination, and supporting commercial activity, with the opportunity for longer-term progression.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales function
2. Process sales orders, quotes, and invoices accurately and efficiently
3. Maintain and update customer and lead records within a CRM system
4. Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and online channels
5. Coordinate with finance, logistics, operations, and the Financial Controller
6. Track sales activity and support reporting requirements
7. Support lead generation and follow up on prospects from events and campaigns
8. Schedule sales meetings, calls, and product demonstrations
9. Liaise between sales and editorial teams, matching content to clients via the CRM
10. Manage event administration, including calendars, collateral, sponsorship materials, and floor plans
11. Update directories, media kits, subscription databases, and event listings
12. Chase copy for magazines and events
13. Handle customer queries or complaints, escalating issues when required
Skills & Experience Required
14. Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or an administrative role
15. Strong written and verbal communication skills
16. Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
17. Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
18. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
19. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Desirable
20. Experience in a B2B environment
21. Familiarity with sales reporting or analytics
22. Exposure to AI or automation tools
23. Polish language skills
