All applications will be forwarded to the care home owner.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nursing Home Manager to lead and manage a well-established Nursing Home in Peterlee. The ideal candidate will be a strong clinical leader with excellent management abilities, committed to delivering the highest standards of care and compliance.Key Responsibilities* Provide effective leadership, management, and operational oversight of the home.* Ensure safe, person-centred care in line with CQC regulations and organisational standards.* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing clinical and care team.* Manage complex clinical needs including PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, epilepsy, dementia, and neuro-disability.* Oversee safeguarding procedures, infection control, clinical governance, and end-of-life care.* Drive continuous improvement, ensuring robust auditing, risk management, and quality assurance.* Maintain strong relationships with families, external professionals, and regulatory bodies.* Ensure the home meets financial, staffing, and operational objectives.Requirements* Nursing Qualification (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with valid NMC registration (Preferred).* Demonstrable experience in a senior leadership role within a nursing home setting.* A stable, non-transitionary employment history.* Proven background in managing services supporting individuals with complex medical, neurological, or dementia needs.* Strong knowledge of clinical risk management, safeguarding, infection control, and CQC compliance.* Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.Benefits* Competitive salary of £48,000 - £55,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications.* Supportive senior management team.* Opportunity for continued professional development and leadership growth.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £48,000.00-£55,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Company pension* Free parking* On-site parkingWork Location: In person
