General Manager – Indoor Hospitality & Leisure Venue
Location: Watford
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Performance Bonus

The Role
As General Manager, you will be accountable for the overall success of the venue. You will oversee daily operations, ensure the highest standards of safety and service, and drive commercial performance while leading a motivated and high-performing team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading all day-to-day operations to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient running of the venue
* Recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team across all departments
* Delivering exceptional guest satisfaction through attention to detail and proactive service
* Driving revenue, managing costs, and ensuring financial targets are achieved
* Overseeing compliance with health and safety requirements and operational standards
* Managing stock, staffing schedules, reporting, and on-site logistics
* Building strong local partnerships and representing the venue within the community
* Supporting initiatives to grow customer loyalty and repeat business
About You
* Proven management experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment (hospitality, leisure, attractions, or retail)
* Skilled in leading, motivating, and developing teams
* Commercially astute with a strong track record of achieving financial results
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
* Hands-on, solutions-focused, and passionate about creating memorable guest experiences
* Flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends
