As Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for the general maintenance of the property, upkeep of facilities, and managing the maintenance team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, meeting guest expectations during their stay.
You will proactively complete daily job lists and preventative maintenance schedules with attention to detail and a passion for fixing things.
You must be able to work to deadlines, liaise confidently with contractors, and take responsibility for health and safety. Organisation, good communication skills, and excellent attention to detail are essential. Experience in a maintenance department of a similar quality hotel is required; knowledge of electrics and health and safety is beneficial.
