Job Summary: The Aerospace Designer creates and modifies detailed 3D models and assembly drawings for aircraft structures and systems, adhering to AS9100-certified design standards. Key Responsibilities: Design mechanical and structural components using CAD tools (CATIA, SolidWorks, NX). Collaborate with stress, manufacturing, and aerodynamics engineers to ensure design feasibility. Prepare documentation and drawings compliant with AS9100 requirements. Review and implement design changes based on validation or production feedback. Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and continuous improvement processes. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. 3–6 years of design experience in the aerospace industry. Knowledge of AS9100 documentation and release procedures.
