Vehicle Technician – Charles Hurst Portadown, Vauxhall & Changan
Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:15–5pm, Friday 8:30–4pm, Saturday 9–1pm on a rota basis (1 in 4)
Salary: OTE up to £42,600 (including £34,000 basic + £6,600 bonus potential)
Join our fantastic workshop in Portadown and work alongside experienced technicians. You will play a vital role in carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting services, and completing repairs to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
* Carry out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
* Conduct vehicle service in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and customer requests
* Carry out any additional repairs once authorised by the customer
* Complete warranty repairs as per the manufacturer’s guidelines, ensuring all relevant paperwork is complete
* Take the customer’s vehicle out on a road test to ensure all faults are rectified
* Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following:
* NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
* Motor industry experience (brand or non‑brand)
* Full and valid driving licence
* Self‑motivated, teamwork oriented, ambitious, eager to learn, and able to maintain the highest of standards for all vehicles
