Special Support Officer (SSO) – The Bridge
Salary: £21,510 - 22,219 per annum. 32.5 hours per week, term time.
The Bridge Alternative Provision Portfolio Pupil Referral Unit is a specialist provision for primary and secondary age pupils who have emotional, social and behavioural difficulties (ESBD). The Bridge is seeking to appoint a Grade 7 Special Support Officer to work across the whole provision. Post holders will be required to provide support for pupils with ESBD needs and lead on delivering well‑being activities and bespoke interventions.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to pupils with ESBD needs.
* Lead on delivering well‑being activities and bespoke interventions.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Basic conversation ability through the medium of Welsh.
* Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility.
* Enhanced with Children Barred list criminal records check by DBS.
* Valid driving licence.
