Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Head Chef to join our team in Worcester. The Head Chef will be responsible for menu planning, managing kitchen operations, sourcing local produce, ensuring food quality, and maintaining high standards of sanitation. Other responsibilities include training and supervising kitchen staff, controlling budgets and costs, and innovating new dishes to enhance the cafe’s offerings.
Qualifications
* Experience in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation
* Strong leadership skills to train and supervise kitchen staff
* Knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation standards
* Ability to source and utilize local produce effectively
* Excellent budget management and cost control skills
* Creativity and innovation in culinary arts
* Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
* Previous experience as a Head Chef or similar role is a plus
* Culinary degree or equivalent experience
