We are currently seeking an experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to support an established NHS service.
This role requires a confident and autonomous consultant with strong experience in both gastroenterology and endoscopy, able to contribute fully to outpatient, inpatient, and procedural services.
About the RoleDeliver consultant-led gastroenterology outpatient clinicsProvide specialist input for inpatients with complex GI conditionsPerform and independently report diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy proceduresParticipate in MDT meetings and contribute to service developmentApply evidence-based practice to ensure high-quality patient care
Essential RequirementsFull GMC registration with Licence to PractiseEntry on the GMC Specialist Register in Gastroenterology (or within 6 months of CCT, if substantive)Significant experience in upper and lower GI endoscopyAbility to work independently at consultant levelStrong clinical judgement and communication skills
DesirableExperience in advanced endoscopy proceduresInvolvement in audit, research, or service development
