We recruiting for a growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice looking for a Part-Qualified Accountant to join their friendly and supportive team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is ACCA or ACA part-qualified (or currently studying) and looking to gain hands-on experience across a varied client portfolio. You will work on a mix of accounting and tax assignments, with the opportunity to develop your technical skills while being supported by experienced senior staff.If you are motivated, organised, and looking for a role with clear progression and professional development, we would love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review VAT returns
* Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
* Assist with Corporation Tax compliance
* Prepare and manage P11Ds
* Handle HMRC enquiries relating to VAT, Corporation Tax, and Self Assessment
* Assist with Self Assessment tax returns for a range of clients
* Support tax advisory projects and ad-hoc client work
* Work closely with senior team members while managing your own workload
Requirements
* ACCA / ACA part-qualified or currently studying (preferred)
* Experience within an accountancy practice
* Working knowledge of Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload
* Strong communication and client-facing skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
