About the role

Responsibilities
* Working alongside the group accountant during month-end and annual audit process
* Assisting in the maintenance of financial accounts to ensure accuracy
* Support in the preparation of annual statutory accounts for the Group and its subsidiaries
* Support tax compliance across the Group, including VAT, CIS, Corporation Tax, PAYE, PSA and P11D submissions
* Support HMRC and Companies House filings
* Gaining hands‑on experience with month end processes, management accounts, forecasting and cash flow across the business
* Support in completion of government reporting (e.g. payment practices, ONS surveys)
* Contribute to ad‑hoc initiatives as required
* Gain hands‑on experience with forecasting and budgeting, supporting strategic financial planning across the business
Qualifications & Requirements
* Graduate with a 2:1 or above in Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting
* Driven and ambitious, ready to kick‑start their career in a dynamic and supportive environment
* Eager to become a Chartered Accountant and keen to pursue professional qualifications
* Strong relationships building across the business, confident and communicative
* Looking for a long‑term career path with real progression opportunities
