The role supports one or more business units within Veolia. This position requires strong attention to detail and organisational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Prepare and process journal entries, ledger transactions, and reconciliations accurately and timely Producing accurate monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis for the contract and reporting results to Contract Manager, Finance Manager, and operational managers Preparing forecasts and budgets in liaison with finance teams - providing support and advice where required Support the wider Municipal finance team with audit queries and pricing queries from clients Support data collection and basic analysis of operational KPIs and financial performance of the contract Collaborate with other team members to complete balance sheet reconciliations Assist in auditing processes to ensure compliance with policies/procedure and collaborate with the finance team to assist with other ad hoc tasks What we're looking for: Essential: We are seeking candidates who are either part-qualified finance professionals progressing towards their final qualification level (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent), or fully qualified, seeking to develop their career Proficiency in spreadsheet as Microsoft Excel/ google sheets Excellent organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines and good communication skills What's next?
