The Digital Systems Manager is responsible for the development, integration and day‑to‑day operation of Enshore's business and operational digital systems. This is a hands‑on leadership role covering ERP ownership, AI and automation enablement, M365 transformation, data management, digital integration, remote operations capability and digital twin development — ensuring the business has scalable, reliable and efficient digital capability aligned to operational delivery.
Please note - This role sits at the intersection of technology and operations. It is not a traditional IT support function. The Digital Systems Manager will both lead and do — shaping digital strategy while rolling up their sleeves to deliver it.
Key Areas of Responsibility
ERP Implementation & Ownership
- Take ownership of the ERP implementation currently underway — ensuring correct configuration, clean data structures and business‑wide adoption.
- Work closely with the chosen ERP vendor and internal stakeholders to ensure the system is set up right from the start.
- Define workflows and system logic that reflect how Enshore actually operates, not generic defaults.
- Own the ERP development, integrity and continuous improvement post go‑live.
- Drive integration between the ERP and other business systems to eliminate duplication and manual processes.
AI & Automation
- Be Enshore's internal AI champion — bringing genuine enthusiasm, curiosity and momentum to how AI is adopted across the business.
- Develop and implement an AI governance framework before widespread deployment — ensuring responsible, consistent and secure use from the ground up.
- Proactively identify and drive AI integration opportunities across operations, reporting, workflows and communications.
- Build and roll out AI‑assisted tools, automations and workflows that create real efficiency gains.
- Stay ahead of the curve on AI tooling — regularly briefing senior leadership on emerging capabilities and recommending next steps.
- Build confidence and capability in AI tools across all teams, turning enthusiasm at the top into adoption throughout the business.
Data Management & Reporting
- Define and maintain data structures, standards and governance across all business systems.
- Develop reporting and dashboard capability to give leadership and operational teams clear, timely visibility.
- Ensure data flows reliably between platforms and is accessible to the right people at the right time.
- Drive a culture of clean, consistent data across the business — working with teams to improve how information is captured and used.
M365 & Digital Integration
- Take ownership of the M365 environment — transforming SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform and related tools from under‑used to genuinely embedded in how the business works.
- Develop Power Automate workflows and Power Apps that replace manual processes and improve day‑to‑day efficiency.
- Architect and manage integrations across the digital estate — ERP, M365, operational platforms and third‑party tools.
- Ensure interoperability, standardisation and clean data flow between connected systems.
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies caused by disconnected or poorly configured platforms.
- Manage vendor and third‑party relationships relevant to the digital systems landscape.
Remote Operations & Digital Twin
- Lead the development and implementation of Enshore's Remote Operations capability — enabling secure, reliable digital access to operational data and systems from onshore locations.
- Define the architecture and tooling required to support remote monitoring, reporting and decision‑making across offshore and field operations.
- Drive the development of focused digital twin capability — creating digital representations of key assets and operations to improve visibility, planning and performance.
- Work with operational teams to identify where digital twin data delivers the most value and prioritise development accordingly.
- Ensure remote operations and digital twin outputs are integrated with ERP, reporting and AI tools for maximum impact.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging remote operations and digital twin technology relevant to Enshore's sector.
IT Infrastructure & Support
- Work alongside the existing IT support function, providing senior oversight and acting as escalation point for business IT systems.
- Coordinate hardware, software and access management requirements across the business, working with the IT support function to deliver them.
- Own the strategic direction of IT infrastructure — ensuring the environment scales with the business and supports operational needs.
- Take responsibility for cybersecurity posture and coordination with any external security or managed service providers.
- Ensure offshore, remote and field‑based digital access requirements are defined and met.
- Bridge the gap between day‑to‑day IT support and the wider digital systems agenda — ensuring both functions work as one joined‑up capability.
