Airedale Junior Academy is a large, four form entry, junior school teaching children from Year 3 to Year 6 and is set in the heart of Airedale Castleford. We are proud of our school community and value the contribution that we make to the local area. We are part of the Castleford Trust.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic, and motivated individual to join our team at Airedale Junior Academy.

There will be opportunity within this role to work across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and as part of our math's team.

You will:

* Have the talent to deliver a range of engaging and creative lessons that brings out the absolute best in every pupil and which makes learning enjoyable and fun.
* To foster a learning environment and educational experience which provides pupils with the opportunity to fulfil their individual potential.
* To provide high quality teaching to pupils in the school, being responsible for their education and welfare.
* To carry out other such associated duties as are reasonably assigned by the Headteacher
* Promote the achievement of high standards through effective teaching and learning, preparation, evaluation and action planning. which set out the professional duties and responsibilities in line with STPC and Teacher's Standards
* Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.

As part of our team at Castleford Trust, you will have access to a comprehensive package of wellbeing support designed exclusively for schools, providing access to a team of in-house wellbeing experts, counsellors, nurses, and physiotherapists.
