Responsibilities of a Behaviour Support Assistant:
* Provide 1:1 support for pupils with challenging behaviour, Autism, and mental health needs
* Help promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and a safe learning space
* Work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to provide consistent, tailored support
* Play a vital role in boosting confidence, well-being, and academic progress
* Ideal for psychology, education, or health-related graduates looking to develop a career in teaching, child psychology, or youth work
Requirements for Behaviour Support Assistant role:
* Previous experience working with children with SEN, ADHD, SEMH, or similar needs (paid or voluntary)
* A calm, patient, and resilient personality with a genuine passion for making a difference
* Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative, supportive setting
Behaviour Support Assistant - Winchester - Term time only – ASAP Start
