Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Chief Clinical Perfusionist (Clinical Manager) to lead and deliver a safe, efficient and reliable perfusion service. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term post to cover maternity leave. The post holder will be responsible for the clinical management of cardiopulmonary bypass and related perfusion services, leading the perfusion service and ensuring high‑quality patient care and excellent clinical outcomes. This is a senior clinical leadership role, combining advanced specialist practice with responsibility for service delivery, staff management and multidisciplinary collaboration. The successful candidate will be required to fully participate in the on‑call service.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the clinical management of cardiopulmonary bypass and related perfusion services.
* Lead the perfusion service, ensuring high‑quality patient care and excellent clinical outcomes.
* Manage staff, deliver training and support development.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient pathways.
* Participate fully in the on‑call service.
