Join to apply for the B2B Events Manager (UK) role at Askable.
Heads up! This role is based 100% in-person from our office in Shoreditch, London.
About Askable — the world’s most loved user research platform. Loved by Deliveroo, Tesco, Pizza Hut, BBC, Mastercard and hundreds more. Askable has been changing the game in research and insights since 2017. Headquartered in Brisbane, with operations in Australia, the UK, and the US, we’re scaling up after securing a significant venture capital round.
About The Role
We’re seeking a seasoned B2B Events Manager who brings strategy, creativity, and ROI-driven thinking to enterprise-level events. You’ll design and deliver experiences — both in person and online — that engage prospects and customers, expand our enterprise presence, and build powerful brand engagement. Our events are dynamic and brand-focused, engaging Australia’s largest enterprises and creative product and UX leaders.
This role blends community building and marketing know-how: you’ll design experiences that fuel acquisition, deepen engagement, and spark retention. Working closely with sales, you’ll ensure every event contributes meaningfully to pipeline while nurturing a vibrant, active community around Askable.
What You’ll Do
* Design and execute a B2B events strategy that supports both acquisition and expansion in the enterprise space—delivering memorable, non-traditional experiences that reflect the Askable brand.
* Partner with the sales team to align on pipeline goals and build events that accelerate deal flow and connect with key decision-makers.
* Identify and nurture Askable ambassadors within the UX and product community, enabling them to run branded community events and become advocates for our platform.
* Keep the Askable community engaged between events through creative touchpoints and ongoing relationship building.
* Lead end-to-end execution of both in-person and virtual events—from intimate dinners and roundtables to larger-scale activations—with attention to detail and experience design.
* Develop strategic partnerships with like-minded brands to expand reach and co-create standout experiences.
* Set up scalable systems and repeatable processes for event planning, execution, and follow-up, without sacrificing quality or creativity.
* Measure event success through clear metrics like engagement, pipeline impact, and brand reach—iterating and improving with every activation.
* Work closely with the marketing and design teams to ensure all events are aligned with brand, campaign, and community goals.
Skills And Experience You’ll Bring
To hit the ground running in this role you’ll need 3+ years of B2B event management experience (e.g., enterprise conferences, client dinners, industry roundtables)—not consumer, festival, or social events.
* A marketing-first and ROI-driven mindset with a deep understanding of the role events play across the funnel—from acquisition to retention.
* Proven experience designing events that go beyond the typical conference or webinar—creative, brand-led activations that people actually talk about.
* Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, design, and community stakeholders.
* Ability to identify and nurture key community voices—turning attendees into advocates and ambassadors.
* Exceptionally detail-oriented, with a knack for building scalable systems that keep things running smoothly as we grow.
* Confident communicator with excellent project management and relationship-building skills.
* Bonus: You love getting involved in the UX or product community and have a flair for building personal or brand presence online (strong LinkedIn presence).
The Mindset You’ll Need
* Winning with your team: you’ll be proud of the individual work you do, but winning as a team is more fulfilling. This includes giving and receiving constructive feedback to better the team.
* Independence and curiosity: you’ll manage your own workflow, problem-solve roadblocks, proactively ask questions, and take responsibility for your goals.
* Growth focus: you’ll seek opportunities to improve yourself, your team, and the business.
* Quick to learn: you’ll rapidly learn our product solutions and stay up to date as offerings evolve.
Our Culture
Our culture drives everything we do. We believe work should be fulfilling, exciting, and meaningful. You’re part of a community that cares about what you’re building and how you’re building it. We even wrote a Culture Book to guide what we stand for, how we work, and the values that unite us.
Perks and Benefits
* Competitive Salary
* An extra 15 days of paid annual leave (Askable Days)
* Breakfast on us, every day
* Opportunities for international travel, including a trip to Askable HQ in Australia soon after starting
* Plus more—we’ll chat about all perks during the interview process
