Parts Coordinator
Pertemps Stoke are proud to partner with a worldwide leading manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent. Our client is looking for a Parts Coordinator to join their established team.
Key responsibilities of this Parts Coordinator role:
1. Obtain and provide up to date, historical parts and assembly prices
2. Support the sales department with quotations
3. Allocate 20% of your time to prospecting for new sales opportunities
4. Identify potential clients and initiate contact to introduce the products and services
5. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the existing capital install base
6. Revisit clients within the capital install base and identify upselling or cross selling opportunities
7. Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure seamless follow up on post capital
8. Take control of the spare parts business control
9. Ordering, progress chasing, arranging packaging for all parts
10. Completing freight and export documents for shipping
Skills required for this Parts Coordinator role:
11. Previous experience in an engineering environment
12. Knowledge of shipping/logistics and export is preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate
13. Self-motivated and proactive with a can do attitude
14. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
15. Must have a strong focus on business development
16. Must have a full UK driving license
