The Radiology Administration Manager has operational management responsibility for the Radiology administration & clerical team.
The post holders main duties will be to trouble shoot all administrative areas within imaging while line managing and supervising the administration and clerical team. You will work as part of the Radiology management team towards shared objectives/strategy. The post holder will be part of the general admin team, leading by example and sharing workloads and responsibilities with others, providing cover and assistance where required, by ensuring adequate reception cover and appointment cover for all modalities.
You will undertake recruitment of staff including the preparation of job descriptions, person specifications, adverts and documents required for submission to the pay control panel. To chair recruitment panels and coach other staff as appropriate. You will be responsible for monitoring annual, sickness and other leave and report on this. The post holder will also manage staff performance, grievance and disciplinary issues.
