Your new role
This is a 6‑month fixed‑term contract, starting in April. You will work a 40‑hour week, with weekend working likely to be required every other weekend (time off scheduled mid‑week accordingly).
Key responsibilities include:
1. Accurate data input and device allocation tracking
2. Supporting unit pre‑delivery activity (late April/May) and camera unit delivery from June onwards.
3. Configuring hardware, charging peripherals, and BWV camera units
4. Managing firmware updates and troubleshooting software issues
5. Connecting docks to secure networks (Ethernet, VLAN configuration)
6. Coordinating with stakeholders including security, facilities, and IT teams
7. Creating documentation, SOPs, and training materials
8. Delivering user training and handling support incidents
9. Ensuringpliance with legal frameworks and maintaining audit trails
What you'll need to succeed
10. A driving licence is essential as travel to multiple sites will form part of the role.
11. Strong technical skills in hardware setup, configuration, and networking basics
12. Experience with asset management, including inventory control and lifecycle management
13. Ability to plan deployments across multiple sites with minimal disruption
14. Excellentmunication skills to liaise with stakeholders and train end‑users
15. Knowledge of BWV camera technology is advantageous.
16. Understanding ofpliance andernance requirements around technology usage
17. Willingness to undergo security clearance, which requires having lived and worked in the uk for a minimum of five years.
