Our client is looking to welcome a Financial Advisor into their team, who offers expertise across the full spectrum of financial services including commercial finance, wealth management, mortgages, protection, and financial planning. As a privately owned business, our client is part of a wider multidisciplinary group which has continued to grow year on year.
The Role:
This is a rare opportunity for a results-oriented, hard-working individual with excellent management and leadership skills to join our client’s rapidly growing and high-impact entrepreneurial business with offices in central London, Horsham, County Durham, and Scunthorpe.
Due to their ongoing success, our client has an opportunity for an experienced financial advisor to join their team in the London office. This is an exciting role working within the Financial Planning arm within a multidisciplinary professional services group which currently includes a National Chartered Accountancy firm, Legal practices, and Business Advisory companies. The group predominantly deals with a prestigious bank of high-net-worth clients.
Specific Responsibilities:
You will help develop business relationships with current clients and assist in bringing new clients on board. Additionally, you will help ensure clients better understand the full potential of the products and convert leads provided by the group. You will also be responsible for collaborating with different departments across the group to enhance customer satisfaction. As such, you will:
* Provide ongoing financial advice covering a broad range of topics;
* Pensions and Retirement Planning - pension contributions, carry forward, lifetime allowance (LTA) planning & drawdown advice, inheritance tax, and estate planning;
* Tax-efficient cash flow strategies using cash-flow analyses;
* Optimize investments – reviewing the suitability of investment wrappers;
* Provide advice to clients over the phone and in writing, with some face-to-face client meetings required as you develop within the role;
* A team player who works towards achieving both team and personal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
* Deliver a quality service to clients, ensuring that updates are regularly provided to clients.
Desired skills and qualifications:
* University graduate or equivalent combination of education/experience;
* Level 6/Chartered status would be attractive but not essential;
* Genuine desire to provide a high standard of advice and service to clients;
* Manage complexity and coordinate across several departments under strict timelines;
* Engaging with a wide array of audiences by phone and email;
* Detailed knowledge of Inheritance Tax Planning and Defined Contribution pensions;
* Experience in dealing with ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
