The Role
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and well qualified candidate to work with the SENCO and teaching staff to develop best practice for SEND. You will work with and supervise individuals and groups of children under the direction/instruction of teaching and/or senior staff, inclusive of specific individual learning needs, enabling access to learning for all pupils. You will assess the needs of pupils through individually tailored key performance indicators and ensure practices are in place so pupils with SEND in mainstream classes make progress.
About You
You will have the ability to support the teacher in planning, delivering and evaluating learning activities to ensure effective teaching and learning and the ability to give feedback in a constructive manner. You will be able to contribute to positive relationships with pupils and adults through communication and interaction and provide effective support for colleagues through differentiation and a proactive approach in and out of a classroom setting.
